tammie is in the spotlight

East Branch's Tammie Foster was featured in this month's edition of The Loop from the County Manager's Office.  Tammie says watching children's reactions as she reads stories to them is among her favorite activities.  Check out the full page spread on page 4 of Issue 3.  Thanks for more than a decade of service to the library and for being one of Rowan County's bright spots, Tammie!

celebrating staff talents

RPL has some talented staff members, including Pam Bloom, who works part-time in the computer lab at HQ.  Pam's acrylic painting, Frances in Still Life, is a tribute to her mother-in-law, who passed away several years ago.  The painting was featured recently in the art gallery at St. John's Lutheran Church in Salisbury.
