blue tag special

Pieces of furniture or equipment with a blue “Property of Rowan County” sticker are fixed assets of the library. Each sticker has a number and it is listed on the library’s inventory list. This list is updated by Edward and I at the end of each Fiscal Year. If you have an item with a blue sticker that is no longer needed or broke; it must be listed as surplus, paperwork must be filled out, sent to the County so it can be taken off the inventory list.
If you are needing to dispose of an item please contact me. I will take care of processing the paperwork.

sending items to tech
From Tech Services Staff--
When sending any item to Tech for repair it must be changed in LS Circ using "Special Status" on the "Check-In" screen. If an item shows as "Checked In" or "In Transit" when it is really in Tech Services, this is not fair to the patrons or to other staff members who may be searching for that item.

benevolence lunch today
Put your lunchbox away and come on up to the 3rd floor at HQ for a hotdog lunch to support the benevolence fund! Cedric will be delivering lunches to those who requested them at the branches.
